Everything about this Grey London ad for The Sun’s TV magazines is appealing.
- You have to love the wit in the name of of Grey London’s new campaign for The Sun newspaper, The Sun – Making Telly Even Better.
- You have to love its montage of ritual family moments that link TV to the joy of life.
- You have to love that you’ve “been there and done that”:
Scrambled to find the remote that’s always behind the couch cushion
Sung like nobody’s watching into your hairbrush mic
Panicked when someone has walked in front of the TV
- You have to love the Simon Cowell cover on the Sun TV magazine, TVBiz in the video
- You have to love the family dog licking Simon Cowell’s face on the Sun TV magazine cover
- You have to love the A-ha 80s pop song flashback, The Sun Always Shines On TV…even more than the pun
- You have to love a newspaper that knows its place and purpose (?) – the newspaper for TV lovers.
In case Simon Cowell’s pic didn’t give it away, the spot first aired during The X Factor on ITV. It is running in 60 second and 30 second versions and there are also 10 second versions promoting The Sun’s distinct TV titles.
