Health and fitness food is big business right now. That’s bad news if you’ve been selling bacon for forty years.
Danepak has been selling bacon for forty years in the UK. And it’s planning to do a new brand launch later this year. To make that work, its agency, Isobel, began mustering a receptive audience.
The Serious Bacon Club is a little bit of silliness in a seriously health-oriented world, or in its own words, “a haven for the thousands of men an women who struggle to get through a single day without so much as a whiff of sizzling bacon.”
An online film promotes the club, with an epically silly call to enlist.
The club itself is housed on Facebook. Isobel promises more silliness to come…keep watching this space.
