Toys have become big business. Really big business. They’re increasingly technological. They have their own imagination built in. Tablets, PlayStation, remote control cars, robots with lights and sounds, dinosaurs that transform and even allow you to scan your code to continue the game from cell phone screens.
Their technology is seductive to adults. It can make believe that children, to have fun, need the most expensive, complex and latest fashion toys.

That’s a problem. They don’t allow children to use their own imagination. Togetherwith and Kenver are reminding people that there are also simple toys. Toys that encourage imagination. Using imagination helps children enhance social, emotional, creative, physical, and cognitive development.
Toys from reality is a project based on turning what nature gives us into toys for children to let their own imagination run wild. What an adult sees as a tree branch can be a magic wand, sword or light saber to a child. A pineapple can be a unicorn horn or a top that travels in time. A shell can be a spoon, a submarine or an amulet. A rock can take a child to space and turn it into a distant planet in their imagination.
“Toys work as triggers for children to explore, develop new skills, and especially let their imaginations flow. We think that all these characteristics are found in nature itself. Toys were always there, but we never thought they could be a ‘gift’ for our children. Toys from reality was born from this insight. The magic of these toys is that children can give them the meaning they want,” stated Lulo Calió Partner & chief creative officer of Togertherwith.
The campaign created by Togetherwith for the outdoor store focused on the perfect gift for children – together with their parents – to discover the power of their imagination, using things that we can find in the ecosystem that surrounds us: a twig, a pineapple, a stone.

“As a brand specialised in outdoor life, our purpose is to bring people closer to nature and awaken the best in them, because that is where the magic happens. For this reason, together with Togetherwith, we thought of these limited-edition collectible boxes as an invitation for children to connect with her in a playful and fun way,” added Paul Reid, from Kenver.
