The Hallway has appointed Carla Hizon for the new role, head of account management. Hizon will be responsible for leading the agency’s account management teams across Sydney and Melbourne.
Hizon will help The Hallway to keep breaking new business records as it has done this year. The agency’s work has been recognised at all the major national and international award shows. Boys Do Cry, the agency’s striking campaign to fight toxic masculinity and male suicide, added a LIA to its awards this week.
The Hallway also redefined the relationship a bank can have with its customers, with a bloke and a guitar sitting on a whale in February…
…and the pair made ants rejoice in March:
Hizon joins from global digital agency, Jellyfish, in New York where she was client partner for Google. She was also a Rare with Google leadership academy delegate last year. Prior to Jellyfish, Hizon worked at digital agency, iCrossing New York, as account director and before moving overseas she worked at DDB Sydney for nearly four years, moving up the ladder to business director. She has worked on some of the world’s biggest brands, such as Google, Adidas, VW, Under Armour, Bayer, Telstra, and Audi and on an impressive collection of awarded campaigns.
“We’re delighted to have Carla join our team. She brings fantastic global experience from her time in New York, building on her many years in Australian agencies. She’s super smart, knows the business of advertising and is a perfect cultural fit with the rest of our team,” stated Jules Hall, chief executive officer, The Hallway.
“I am thrilled to join The Hallway. We have such a bright and talented team who are passionate about building what’s next for the agency and our clients. I’m looking forward to all that we’ll create,” Hizon added.
