DDB Sydney has held the McDonald’s for 55 years. Now McDonald’s is looking foran “additional creative agency partner from our existing global agency roster”. DDB may hold onto part of the account, which will be concluded by the end of the year.
McDonald’s was the third largest advertiser in Australia in 2023.
The existing global roster includes Wieden+Kennedy and Droga5 in the US, TBWA in Europe and Asia, Leo Burnett in the UK, Indonesia, Korea & the Philippines. DDB in New Zealand and Hong Kong. Nord DDB holds the account in Sweden. Cossette is the creative agency for McDonald’s in Canada, TBWA/Neboko in The Netherlands, FP7 McCann in Dubai.
