Sonar Music’s Matteo Zingales has won the AACTA Award for Best Original Score for a Feature Film two years in a row, 2012 and 2013. But that accomplishment has not stopped him from achieving.
In fact, 2016 has been his biggest year so far. And it is to be capped by his composing the soundtrack for the new Bryan Brown feature, Australia Day, produced by Foxtel.

The series won a Special Jury Prize at Series Mania Festival in Paris and was a nominee for Television Original Miniseries at the AWGIE Awards.
He recently composed original scores for US ABC prime time TV thriller, Secrets And Lies, starring Ryan Phillippe and Juliette Lewis. This work won him an ASCAP Screen Music Award. And he composed the score for Secrets And Lies Season 2, set to air in the US this September.
Zingales’ recent feature films include 99 Homes (starring Andrew Garfield and Michael Shannon) and The Lost Aviator. His work on The Hunter and Not Suitable for Children won AACTA Awards for Best Score for a Feature Film.
He worked on the Australian campaign launch of Netflix and the Tiger Beer campaign, Charlie StuntMan, and has also composed soundtracks for TV series including Redfern Now, Better Man and Devil’s Dust.
“We are super proud of Matteo and his incredible work on many of our favourite TV series and feature films,” stated Sonar Music producer, Sophie Haydon.
