248 Pencils were awarded in film, interactive, cross-platform, IP, mobile, social, UX/UI and radio by the One Show this year.
REI’s #OptOutside campaign won Best of Show.
- Leo Burnett Sydney won the 2016 Green Pencil for Just with WWF. The campaign encourages people to replace wastefully packaged household products with environmentally-friendly alternatives and shows how a small change can make a big difference to the planet. Just also won a Silver Pencil for Collateral Design. The Leo Burnett network won 23 awards for campaigns created in 11 offices throughout the world.
- The Martin Agency won three special awards with long-standing client, Geico – Agency of the Year, Client of the Year and the inaugural Penta Pencil, which is given to an agency-brand team that has created stellar work for five continuous years.

Wieden + Kennedy also won a Penta Pencil for its work with Old Spice.
Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi won two awards for long-standing client, Andes Beer – Gold in print & Outdoor for The Fairest Night of All and Bronze in Film for Hagglers.
- BBDO won Network of the Year for the second year in a row, with eight different agencies winning Gold Pencils, including Best in Radio (Sancho BBDO in Bogotá) and the first Gold Pencil win from Russia (BBDO Russia Group).
- WPP won Creative Holding Company of the Year, with Ogilvy, Grey, AKQA and JWT making generous contributions to its tally of Pencils.
